Summer Block Course

The Biblical Doctrine of the Kingdom of God

Dr. Mark Snoeberger
June 12–17

2 Credits

This course introduces the student to the multi-faceted but integrated doctrine of the Kingdom of God as it unfolds in the Bible. Emphasis is given to an understanding of how the Church has understood the kingdom concept throughout her history.  Our goal will be to arrive at an understanding that gives equal weight to all parts of the biblical record.  The course will culminate with applications of this biblical survey to systematic theology, the ongoing mission of the church, God’s work of common grace in His governance of our lives, and expectations for future expressions of the Kingdom.
